Hemp Nation Proudly Supports and sponsors the incredible work of Plan International.
Plan International tackles the root causes of poverty, support communities through crisis, campaign for gender equality, and help governments do what’s right for children and particularly for girls. We are here to ignite the creativity, talent and ideas of girls in all their diversities. They are informed by evidence, and always learning.
They’ve been doing this for more than 80 years, but they don’t do it alone. They bring people together to create change that lasts. Children, families, local communities, government, schools, businesses, and you. They do what we do so babies can survive their first 1000 days, so children can learn in safe environments, so girls can live and work without discrimination, so young people can stand up for their rights, and so all children can break free from poverty. They view the children, families and local communities they work with as their partners and equals.
By standing with girls and empowering them to speak up, know their rights and lead, they are working towards a better, more equal world for all.

Natural Skincare improves signs of Ageing.
Due to the harsh ingredients found in many chemically-infused products, they will eventually dry out your skin no matter what it say's in their advertising.
As you age, your skin naturally loses its ability to produce nourishing oils naturally and that's where Plant based oils step in. These naturally derived oils are full of antioxidants that protect your skin from the ravages of pollution, sun, and wind so that it stays firm and elastic for longer.
We Reuse & Recycle our packaging
Packaging takes a lot of energy, water and other natural resources to produce. The natural resources we use to create packaging Eg: sand, trees, tin, steel etc are lost when we throw away our packaging and usually after only One use. At Hemp Nation we reuse all packaging from our suppliers and only purchase packaging that our customers can recycle or reuse.
So if your orders arrives a little quirkily packed appreciate what little bit of extra help we are all giving the earth.
Making the Change to Natural Skin Care
If you are like most of us and becoming aware of all of the hidden chemicals in our favourite products that have a daily impact on our overall health then it may be a bit overwhelming of knowing where to start. You have probably already invested a lot in your current products or just don’t want to throw them away. We recommend you prioritise which products you’re going to switch out first and we recommend to start with the products you will need to replace soon anyway.
This will save you money because you can simply replace products as you need them. Be patient with this process.
Depending on where you are in your own health journey, you may decide to speed up the process and that’s great too. By starting to make changes for you and your families health you are taking the most important step!
Not all ORGANIC ingredients are safe.
In my journey of discovering the real side effects so called Organic and natural Ingredients can have on you, I was truly shocked that even some of the most harmless sounding ingredients can really be a hazard in your products. One of these is Lactic Acid. Naturally produced in our bodies I learnt very quickly that it can be hazardous when levels build up in the body but also when applied externally on your skin. It is found in many Peels and is now popping up in Organic eye & face creams.
Despite the milder nature of lactic acid, it’s still considered a powerful AHA.
Its “peeling” effects will make your skin more vulnerable to the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays so it increases your risk for skin cancer. Using a Sunscreen is crucial if this ingredient is in your products.
Lactic acid can also cause hyperpigmentation, irritation, rashes and itchiness. You should steer clear of products with lactic acid in them if you have sensitive skin or conditions such as Eczema, Rosacea & Psoriasis.
Take the time to start looking at the ingredients in your products.
